Abstracts... IANA Instructions for Submitting AbstractsSubmission of Abstracts
- All abstracts must be submitted via the IANA ONLINE ABSTRACT SUBMISSION FORM. Abstracts submitted by post or by facsimile will not be accepted.
- Abstracts that do not conform to the format outlined below will be rejected.
- The committee will accept and decide which abstracts will be oral and which should be poster presentations. You may state your preference on the submission form.
- Abstracts are printed as received. The Organising Committee takes no responsibility for any errors in the published version.
- The abstract should be saved as a word document with the name of the author, e.g smithj. If you submit multiple abstracts, please submit each one individually and call them smithj1, smithj2. etc
Abstract Formatting Instructions
- All abstracts are to be in English and 12 point Arial font with single spacing.
- Abstracts should include the following headings: Objectives, Design, Setting, Participants, Intervention (if any), Measurements, Results, and Conclusion.
- Please do not exceed 300 words.
- The title should be in bold and words should commence with capitals.
- Highlight the presenting author with an asterix (*). List all authors by initials followed by a fullstop and then the surname. All authors should be separated by commas. For example: J. Smith, G. Fox
- Author/s affiliations to start on a new line - use superscript numbers to relate the author to the organisation
- Please do not include figures, tables or references in the abstract
- Abbreviations can only be used for common terms. For uncommon terms, the abbreviation should be given in brackets after the first full use of the term
Registration Fees
Please note that it is a requisite that the presenter of each accepted abstract register for the conference. Payment of registration fees must be received by 9 July 2007. Registration can be completed either through the online registration on the website or by facsimile or mail.
The Conference website will be continually updated with details of confirmed papers and program.
