Abstracts

Abstracts have now been accepted and allocated to SIG sessions. All authors have been advised by email of their acceptance and have been sent a code to access the Abstract Acceptance Form

A hard copy acceptance letter will not be sent this year - all authors must advise their acceptance via the online form.

Special Instructions for Oral Presenters

As a contributed oral presenter you will be entitled to a total of 15 minutes for your presentation. This will consist of 10 minutes presentation time and five (5) minutes to allow for an introduction by the chairperson, questions and change of speaker. As there are several concurrent sessions, please ensure that you keep to your allocated speaking time. Refer to the final program that you receive at registration to confirm the venue and the order in which your presentation is listed.

A complete program showing details of all concurrent sessions and poster papers will be posted on the website by the middle of February.

If for any reason, you are unable to present your paper at the Meeting, please advise us as soon as possible so that the published program can be amended accordingly.

We remind you that the presenting author must pay registration fees to attend the conference.

Audio-visual equipment requirements

  • The audio visual facilities available during the ASM at the National Convention Centre, Canberra, will enable presentations to be pre-loaded to the networked computer system.
  • All presenters must report to the Speaker Support Centre on arrival to confirm their requirement with the technicians.
  • The default computer configuration for the ASM is Windows 7 with PowerPoint 2010. We will supply a Windows PC in all rooms for presentations.
  • If you wish to use Macintosh, video or any other presentation media, please contact the Secretariat.
  • Please bring your presentations on a mass storage device. Remember to ensure that any linked images or videos are also saved onto the same storage device.
  • Do not include any live internet links in your presentation as internet access will not be available in the meeting rooms.
  • The use of personal laptops will not be allowed as they often cause logistical problems at a crucial moment.
